Main Program
Our Main Program focuses on a holistic approach to a child developmental and learning stages through free play, exploration, collaborative tasks and projects.
Our classroom is a combination of (Petite Section (PS) – 3-year-olds Moyenne Section (MS) – 4-year-olds, Grande Section (GS) – 5-year-olds).
We have five key points of focus in our curriculum.
1. Mobiliser le langage dans toutes ses dimensions (Developing oral and written language).
2. Agir, s’exprimer, comprendre à travers l’activité physique (Physical activity and motor skills).
3. Agir, s’exprimer, comprendre à travers les activités artistiques (Artistic expression and creativity).
4. Construire les premiers outils pour structurer sa pensée (Early math and logical thinking).
5. Explorer le monde (Understanding the world around them).
Summer Immersion Program
Our Summer program is a short version of our main program.
This is an introductory program designed to balance language learning,
play, creativity, and cultural exposure. Each week has a specific theme, key
vocabulary, and activities aligned with the language immersion goal.
Our classroom is a collaborative learning environment.
Learning to work together, respect for classroom rules, respect for self and others, relying on each other, supporting one another, helping with setting up and cleaning up,
are part of our daily classroom routine.

CREATIVE CORNER
At Le Cartable Rouge, we believe that creativity is the heart of early childhood education. Our dedicated Creative Corner is a space where children explore their artistic talents through drawing, painting, and crafting, all while learning about French culture and traditions.
Our program encourages self-expression and imagination, using high-quality, child-safe materials that inspire young artists. We focus on projects that incorporate seasonal themes and introduce students to classic and contemporary French art styles, fostering a deep appreciation for creativity from an early age.
MUSIC STUDIO
Music is an essential part of life at Le Cartable Rouge. Our Music Studio is where children discover the joy of making music, guided by skilled instructors who specialize in early childhood music education. Twice a week, our students are introduced to the basics of playing the violin, a beautiful instrument that enhances their cognitive and motor skills.
We believe in the power of music to build confidence and creativity. Our program integrates traditional French songs and rhythms, providing a rich cultural experience. Instruments and lessons are carefully selected to be developmentally appropriate, ensuring each child can participate and enjoy their musical journey.
